Leading the Oceans Dermatology team is a brother-sister dermatology duo. Born in Romania and inspired by their physician mother, they pursued medicine as a career. Having suffered a loss in the family due to melanoma in their early childhood, dermatology has always been personal.
Drs Gherghina and Damse each completed a four-year dermatology residency, a one-year Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship, and a one-year pigmented lesion fellowship.
They are both board-certified in dermatology and fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery.
More importantly, however, they maintain that age-old approach where each patient is treated carefully and tactfully as their own family members.
